@ idbeholda1You may have a point but, Grunge/alt metal: what the hell does it matter? The group resonated with the culture at the time. You think armstrong was bitchin at miles for "re-"elaborating tune phrasing? They were jazz just like SG, PJ, Nirv and STP were grunge (our jazz) for us when we needed it and the honest original sound they brought. Otherwise why would you take the time to watch and post right here.

Anyone who classifies Soundgarden as a grunge band is either retarded or a troll. Soundgarden was "officially" formed in *1984*, with the precursor bands existing around '80-81. The classification of Grunge didn't emerge until around 89-91.At worst, they were not grunge, but Alternative Metal. At best, they are epic fucking win.l2music history, retards.

Eddie Vedder HID from all the press and media motherfuckers along with the rest of the band, and work on your English bud, seriously.Nirvana never really got on with any of the people in AIC, SG or PJ, they were the outsiders of the big 4 of grunge music, THEY were the ones that made fashioned videos THEY were the ones who wanted money, not PJ.

You mean "Ten"?& "User Friendly"? What does that mean, nobody even used them! If any band was more popular than any other back then in grunge (apart from Nirvana) it was Pearl Jam, they sold more than any of the above mentioned, *Eddie Vedder doesn't have an link to Bon Jovi whatsoever, and Kurt wanted to be dead by the looks of things anyway! Pearl Jam are highly respected, even though they tried to make themselves underground, they still rock today! |
