Raising Sand is a spellbinding collaboration between two great and truly unique voices, produced by the legendary T-Bone Burnett. Don't just take our word for it though...

Really respect Plant for being so open to always growing and experimenting with music.

If this collaboration was not meant to be...it never would have been,,,and we are all blessed by their music...AWESOME !!!! Chanced to meet them both recently at the Bongo Java coffee shop Belmont BLVD, Nashville as the CMT Music Video awards were across the street the next evening at Belmont Univ's Curb center...They both graciously gave me their autographs,,,,as a fan,,,,on the STAIRWAY to....Rodney W. Nashville

Come on. . . LZ did lots of music that was nothing to do with bluegrass. I'm not kidding. I just don't happen to agree that this Krauss/Plant combo works.

I will see them tonight here in Santa Barbara. I am old LZ fan and absolute adore AK. I only wish Jimmy Page, John Bonham and Jerry Douglass were playing with them..well, maybe not this time.

This is one of the most unbelievably great musical combinations--it defies imagination. Just really really transcendent music.

Robert plant and his whole band had bluegrass roots people... they took that sound and made it work with rock music.

You're kidding right? Personally I am not a fan of "country music" but bluegrass is brilliant and wouldn't be without her. And, regardless of the genre there are ton of followers of her music. And Robert Plant is a genius of course but he hasn't been around doing much of anything for a long time... but where did Led start from? Bluegrass.. the mandoline anyone?
