My girlfriend is from Panama and she say's that the Americans are driving up prices so they can't even afford to buy property there anymore. They are arrogant, pushy and demanding. They even demanded that they cancel their annual celebration complaining of the "noise." The ugly American invades Panama. They're pretty upset about it.

real estate prices already went through the roof. the boom is over. stay home. panama is full.at the rate things are going now panama is going to be practically unlivable in about 20 years.

Reality check, it's mid 2008 and most retirees just lost their shirt on their US homes. I bet Panama is not looking so hot now eh?

I am looking forward to visiting your beautiful country and possibly moving there in the near future. I was dismayed to see the vulgarity that some people choose to display in these posts. It never fails that ignorant, rude people end up posting in these forums. If you have a different opinion, you can always state it intelligently and with class. I was born in Cuba and wish the Americans had "invaded" my island and not let it rot to what it is today.
