First, you're being naive, everybody knows dave had almost no importance in the writing process of nirvana, he kept his ideas for himself, in order to not mess with the chemistry of nirvana.Second we were comparing RHCP with FF, not with nirvana that is totally different.

You can say whatever you want about RHCP, but there's a difference between them and FF that you've forgot: even thought they're are not as good live as FF, they will remain as one of the greatest rock bands ever because their sound and style is unique - funk rock. On the other hand, FF is just another post-grunge band like hundreds of others. I'm not saying they're not good i'm just saying they're not original.
