What's with the twitching during 0:56-0:58? My rabbit does that too and it always scares me because it looks like her arms are broken. And what's a good way to house train a rabbit? We currently keep our rabbit in a cage with a small fence around it and office chair matts underneath to keep the carpet protected. We used to let run freely in the living room, but she kept chewing up the carpet and baseboards.

Nice to see this. My wife and I own a house rabbit. He is fantastic and quite affectionate. But yes, they do have their own agenda so to speak. Our rabbit, "Ruby", does usually come when called though (especially when saying the word "treat" in a high-pitched voice). He uses what we call "bunny boxes" which are like cat boxes. We fill them with shredded paper out of our paper shredder. That happens to be the shedding that he likes the most. Actually, I might just post some videos of him

i dont think a rabbit would come back on purpose.(they might get lost and wonder back by accident though)But they dont usually get far.

i am thinking about getting a rabbit. If it got out would it come back? or would it just run for freedom and never return? i am asking cus once my dog got away from me. i looked all over for her. then she came back . she died this sunday so i want a new pet.

i love my rabbit. But i can't keep him in the house because my terrier has "Small animal" isuses. But he loves it out there and I love seeing him hopping round from my kichern window when its sunny. he has a really big hutch, his hutched is on top and he has a large pen on the bottom. i feed him twice a day, hold him, and play with him.So i have no worries that he feels "caged in". I plan to house train him when i move next year to go to collage, it seems even better having them inside.

Thanks. I had a pet rabbit for about 8 yrs. He was "previously enjoyed" and I took him in when the original owners felt they no longer wanted him. He was the best pet I ever had. I found an awesome vet at the small animals clinic at Guelph University (Ontario, Canada). Very important. Bunny proofing is essential as well as a good caregiver when you go away. Thanks for the great vid!
