even though the left hand is played by Joshua and the hand hand by another famous musician, the act is so fake that it was not worth spending so much money on making those tricks: like tying up the violin to the actors neck and hiding the 2 famous musicians behind the actor.... it just didn't work, I didn't buy that trick. It's just awkward.

I was so young when I first saw this! LOL! It is Joshua Bell as co-concert master!! Yes, he recorded all the violin solos. He recently re-recorded them with the BSO(Baltimore Symphony) I hate movies that have actors/actresses trying to play an instrument. It is unbearable to watch.

the sound is supposed to be aligned in the original film, but it's the actions themselves that look fake. But I suspect the actor probably knows some violin, otherwise it would've been even more awkward, especially with such a hard piece.

joshua bell is playing because he has no rosin on his bow or the thing that lets the person to make a noise on his instrument.^_^

i got the sheet music for this sound track and this song is the hardest thing to play, let alone master. bell does a fantastic job playing it!
