I get familiarized with this song when my son sung this in our karaoke. And the melody and lyrics really moved me.The tune is singable and everytime I join karaoke sessions with my friends this is always my opening dong

They were described by a music critic as just that, a poor mans moody blues because it was so obvious who their influence came from but the ticket prices to their concerts were much cheaper than the Moodies so this song was john lees reply, yes they did want to be moodies but they lacked any originality. Dont get me wrong though, they made some damn good music.
