When the government takes money from you, there is a sense that most is spent for the good of the country, on such things like hospitals and schools, police, social security, infrastructure, education. But the Fed doesn't have any duty to spend for the good of the country, so for whose good is the Fed spending the money it prints? And what are they spending it on?

inflation is often called a hidden tax. and when the government is doing the printing, it is.but the Fed is not part of the government, it is a private corporation.that means that a private corporation is taking value from you, a corporation that does not have the right to tax, hidden or not. When the Fed prints, it is not a hidden tax, it is a hidden theft.
