you're right. It was the eighties. I had just started high school when Chocky came to terrorize our young minds. High School Musical? pah...give me Chocky and others from that era anytime. Kids need to live in an atmosphere of dread and impending doom. I couldn't get enough off Day of the Triffids..even though it scared the pants of me.

Good comment, except it was 80s winter evenings, not 70s, 1984 if I remember rightly for the original series.

simply terrifying. A pure tripped out 70's winters evening, soggy gym clothes and too much homework..then Chocky to spin your mind out just in time for John Cravens newsround..makes me feel all weirded out but yes in a good way. Ahh. they don't know how to put the fear off God into todays kids.

Just found Aubrey on youtube put "aubreys boat" in search. Im watching it now its still scary.
