Thanks, i correct what i said i meant if you like it or someone eles likes it it is their opinion that is all. Yes exactly it may be wise to only condemn, but that is not what he said, he thinks criticsm itsef is invalid and to credit him somewhat there are lot of loudmouths who engage in criticism without action. I was making his opinion a little less direct that is all, not disregarding the value of genuine criticsm.

No, I don't think it would be better, in fact I think it changes the meaning entireley. Sometimes it may be wise to only criticize and condemn something. I like it how my problem is someone elses opinion.. but sorry for the gibe, it really wasn't meant to be personal.

Would't it be better if he said To only criticize and condemn is foolish? Stop indulging in personal attacks. If you like it that is your problem, if someone else does not find it adequate that is their opinion also.

Actually the quote reads "ANY fool CAN criticize, condemn, and complain" not "ONLY fools DO ..." and you have shown this to be true. Well done.

I just began reading Dale Carnegie's "How to win friends and influence people" and I must say he's a very entertaining writer with lots of great stuff to say. His wife introduces the book saying he writes very much like he talks. Well, he's definitely a person I would very much like to meet in a distant eternity but until then, I recommend his book for any new prospective positive thinkers. I enjoyed the video, really soothing music. thanks!

Not for everyone.

Acting as if you are happy is highly discouraged by doctors, if you cover up your depression with fake happiness it can end you in hospital. Again all this was for a certain period of time when self help was hard to find. It is pratical and sensible but shallow too, so keep it in mind that is all.

They are not 'crap' just very generalized, like for example that only 'fools' criticize, a good critic is not a 'fool' he is av ery necessary part of projects. Also doing things we fear, that is really dumb advice, works for some things, other things it is downright foolish. I am fearful of tigers, shall I go and take on one??
