its about dying. obvisioulsy because before he starts singing, they hear stuff on the news about vietnam. and remember when he sticks the pins into the strawberries and then it starts dripping? its used to represent how many people died during the war. if you really watch and think aobut it, then you'll understand.

oh my gosh, i was watching this movie earlier.And when this part came on i saw the smoke and i was like sweet!it's extremely thick.:)i was thinking to myself the exact thing!great movie!and Jim Sturgess is georgous!;D
