Pérez Prado tried to change mexican's national anthem? Never heard of that. Can you confirm, please? Very interesting. Prado, as we all know, introduced afro-cuban into the world, before Fania All-Stars.

Perez Prado made it big in Mexico. Later he was banned from the country after he tried to change the national anthem. Other great songs are marilyn monroe mambo, tequila, corazon de melon, mambo pachuco, maria cristina,silbando mambo, the peanut vendor, tico tico, perfidia, caballo negro and a few songs with rose mary clooney. Great ERA, EPOCA DE ORO!!!!

The movie is Tivoli starring lots of stars of the time Lyn May, Palomoa Zozaya, Alfonso Arau (Sergio's dad), Carmen Salinas, tons of others Lyn May does a fully nude scene.
